Good Design Faster

Day 2 1:30pm5:00pm

Much as we love them, wireframes aren’t enough to overcome new and future challenges of UX. To create great experiences, you need fast, agile, and compelling new tools that generate new ideas and solve tough problems of interactivity, flow, and form.

Good Design Faster is Adaptive Path’s newest workshop — an immersive, hands on experience that takes you from back-of-the-napkin sketching to complete, team-approved designs in a remarkably short time. Good Design Faster brings together Adaptive Path’s favorite techniques for rapid, flexible design and prototyping, and recreates the high-energy experience of working in the Adaptive Path design studio.

For UX London, Leah Buley will condense this action packed two-day experience into a half-day workshop.

What You’ll Learn

In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn methods and build skills to:

  • Explore a variety of design possibilities through a structured, rapid ideation process.
  • Convey your ideas and build team buy-in using sketchboards.
  • Facilitate honest, productive design reviews with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Put it all together into a repeatable, sprint-driven design process.

Who It’s For

  • For interaction designers who want to develop strong ideas via sketching and test these ideas without having to write code.
  • For product managers who are looking for a team process to evolve product ideas quickly and collaboratively.
  • For project managers and business analysts in understaffed teams who find themselves doing interface design.
  • Highly recommended for anyone doing agile, iterative product development (and basically anyone who’s tasked with doing more in less time).
